find some other things to do like hiking etc while resting from running, cause I'll tell you your running will be so much faster and stronger!...

Well after 5-7 weeks not running and resting up was the best part of my healing, in the past years when injured I never really took time off running it was more I didn't train as much and hope for the best to heal !!! but this time around with many longer races coming up and pals telling me to rest ! I said OK I've still got my cycling and hiking etc so for the 1st time ever ! I took the time out and WOW am back running now and feel great, so much power and having the love of running again it great,it was my Birthday on the 16th of March and what a great day to start running again and had a great little loop, so if your reading this and thinking yes I'll will miss my running and that great feeling you get etc .. find some other things to do like hiking etc while resting from running, cause I'll tell you your running will be so much faster and stronger!... enjoy life and running.. peace
