am very sorry not to be up-dating my blog but where I live can be a hit and miss with the internet and as I try to log into my website and can't!
So JuJu is back for now. so go make some tea and sit down as I've got lots to talk about haha!
WOW where to start. ill just let it out and hope you can all follow!
Well since my 42k stone mad marathon a few weeks ago with some MSR friends its been all go with me running non - stop really and taking many groups of running & hiking, so this has me very busy.!!
MSR - Mud Sweat & Runners is going so good that am now setting it up as a club & will all be set up very soon.
Ive got my MSR logo printed up there few weeks ago on Tee's hoodies and buffs and all is selling out very good. ill be making a new order in many new colours soon.
so ya its been all running all the time really. I slowed down with my training for a while there just to rest my bones but am 100% back and feeling strong. am doing fast pace training runs on the 5-6k for my speed work & then my group training 3 days a week with this as MSR getting so busy idv not have set days for everyone to join myself while am training,
SO now we have Tuesday evening for all runners & with that it maybe a summit run or just around the trails of Glendalough at a pace for all..
Then Wednesday evening is set for beginners ONLY and they all love this run as its there time to have fun and at the same time learn something new about trail running from myself and others that join the runs... the route are never more then 7k for now..
then we have weekend group runs from 20 - 40k at the mo the routes i make up would not be for all but people can still try them out as we had many new runners join myself & the group and now fell in love with trail running and MSR runs... my weekend runs can be from local trails to open mountains where maps and compass is needed.. but I myself still do the guiding... so this way no ever gets lost!
been sponsored is great fun as I get to try out new trail shoes and other cool gear from Great Outdoors in Dublin, this store has to be the best out door shop for far! am not just saying that cause they send me free shoes! but when I was younger I used to go in to the shop after work and buy some cool gear! not known much about the outdoors but I still knew the shop had some cool gear for camping etc..
so over time getting more into the outdoors I done as much shopping in the store as I could.!
but moving to the UK for some years to work took me away form keeping fit as I was working so hard over time to and YES i had a great time tattooing but with not as much work outs apart form cycling in and out to work maybe 1hour with many hills on a fixie but still as hard as the hills was on one gear bike I still got fat and my belly was only getting bigger! so time to get fit & joined a indoor GYM! but not really for me. so over time moving home to Ireland it all stated for me again to get fitter and moved to Glendalough & started to trail run. yes it wasn't to easy as many of you know. but I keep telling myself if I keep out it am sure like anything inline it will get easy! and sure it did!. well am doing more running and miles now a days but am only getting fitter and fitter so happy days
and to have my best shop sponsor MSR with free trail shoes to test is WOW
I hope you all have a good read of my reviews on them trail shoes.
my last write up on the Fellrasiers went great and great outdoors have sold many pairs from that..
my new write up on the Salomon S-lab sense 3 and WOW WOW WO they sure do work great on the trails and open mountains have to say when I 1st seen them i wasn't really happy with the bight colour of red! its just not my colour! but I said OK lets give them a go! WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW after my 1st trail run with speed and Ill tell you all there ACE!!! but as good as they are I still want to wait till after a few more tests and do my 60k run in few weeks before posting my review on them..
Ok its time once again to say get your ass down to the shops and buy yourself a copy of the Irish Runner Magazine as they have posted something small from myself and I hope you all like it..
It maybe a start for myself to start writing for running magazines..
am not great at spelling the my grammar is not good at all..
am sure you can tell!!...
but am trying...
Ok Peace out for now and hope you all come running with myself and my groups sometime soon.
