My new plans for a day on the mountains will be to run from Laragh to Dublin Bay for a recovery swim by doing the run along the Wicklow Way and down from 3-rock Mountain in Dublin to the seaside but with out any car support & just using what the mountains & nature has for me i.e. water / foods, well I've have my own vest / bag with water & some baba foods as I don't eat much while running.. after my test last weekend running 51k I was feeling great full of GO and felled great after it was all day on the go & still feeling good, so my goal is now to be able to run 50k or more with out support... lets see can it be done. who knows what can happen on the day!...

AuthorAs most of you know I am very passionate about Mountain running and other outdoor sports like mountain biking, hiking, power kitting cycling etc. my love for running and sharing great trails with people lend me to starting group runs up and over time setting up M.S.R facebook page and website. my runs can be from 5 to 61km. am hoping to do longer distances in future.
