life is always good and we need to do the things we love doing the most to stay happy.!!
summer is nearly over and the winter runs will be starting up soon.

this is one of the grey feelings of trail running for myself. I run all year day & night,
and to see so many things come & go on the mountains with the summer colours to the winter ones.
its always super nice. you can run past the place a few times a week and always see something new..
trail and mountain running is the best feeling ever!!
Ive been doing so much training this summers & taking out so many runners in the groups & some come for one & one runs..
some like the more feeling from running with myself then a group this is all good. I love to share & sometimes learn new things myself..
Our MSR 33 & 51k group run was late this year as last year 2013 we ran from Glendalough to Dublin in june on one very fine warm day but this year we didnt head off till Aug' as my training and group running was so booked up. everyone wants to run with myself and try learn many new trails and other things..
so my training has been going super good am always feeling strong and never tried, so why STOP!!
if something is going to good for you why stop? some say rest & recovery is good some day its not.
am the kind of guy say ya pending what ya doing each day. but we all get rest when sleeping!
I train 6days a week everyday getting up nice & early starting my dog with Dog walk in the woods. then back get running gear on & go for fast pace run or trail run to some summit or even a longer training run,
then I like to jump into the COLD rivers for cool down. NUDE!! its the best feeling ever!.
soon after all thats done I like to eat some great foods, rest the legs & then go back out doing stuff around the garden or hike on the hills with my dog ( Patch) but I never really STOP its always go go go ..
I find when I stop for to long I get stiff legs etc.
I love to spend all my time on the mountains if running or hiking!.
but am heading off in few weeks to test myself running for ultras on my own. that means no car support with food or water,
I've been doing many training diets with my running for how long I can run with out any foods & just let my body run on my natural energy as my last 51k went great.
So ill be doing my next ultra in about 3weeks yes this will be a winter ultra.
My next up-date will be my review on the last Salomon trail shoes I've got to test for Great Outdoors in Dublin. it will be good ..
