Am putting myself to a test I've NEVER done before by running over the Wicklow Mountains to Dublin Bay for a relaxing swim from Glendalough with out any foods or car support, this means no one to give me a hug or any foods & water etc... Ive been training myself the last while to run on my body fat and energy by relaxing into the run to save on energy, I never eat anything before any of my training runs & only carry some baba foods for just incase!

So this weekend I'll be putting myself to the test...
and still training all week non stop! I feel I can give it my best and still keep going after my long run,
A few weeks ago I ran 51k and was feeling great everyday after this run. I did eat some foods along the route maybe cause most people were stopping for good while & eating but only ate small bits i.e. salt !!
I am hoping to only stop running for pics and pee's!!!! and stay running from Glendalough all the way to Dublin Mountains to the bay for my swim ( I just hope the sea is in haha ) so this means running over the Wicklow Mountains - Route will be picked soon and then coming off meeting the roads and running right down to the seaside...
people can meet me along the route for little runs if they feel or pics but I maybe not be taking to much sorry for this as Ill be in my zone!!!
This run / not eating while running an ultra is a BIG deal for me maybe not for most great ultra runners but I do know many ultra runners that do use drop bags, car support & eat while running.
this is something I hope to keep doing solo always!!!
As am not sure of my route just yet it maybe 60-80k but am not really thinking about that to much for now! I'll deal with this on the day,.
